What do you think:
- Looking for some straightforward home-cooking tips?
- Imagined cooking when the lights go out?
- What are the kitchen thrills and spills without sight?
You may have heard of “Dining in the Dark” (eating without seeing) and now you can glimpse what might be happening behind the scenes if they were cooking in the dark too. My new YouTube “Baking Blind” channel launches this week to celebrate Christmas cooking and show that touch, smell and taste easily make up for loss of sight in the kitchen. It’s the same in other parts of life and work: just having a disability doesn’t mean that we can’t or don’t want to play our part. I’ll be uploading my first recipe today so please do share and subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWTJYx7jGA3xaR4830wJSRg
The series starts with making over 30 Christmas cakes and then handmade pewter decorations feature in a coming clip. You could include my mince pies and sausage rolls in your seasonal celebrations. Each video has a recipe with some useful tips and ideas that can be downloaded from this blog.
Please do take a look and let me know what you think.
And a very happy Christmas to you all.
